Stay tuned after the credits for a quick LOL

This week’s Money Saving Minute tip is going to sound a little obvious, but how many of us are guilty of leaving things like phone chargers and laptops cords plugged in when they are not being used?  Computers, cell phone chargers, and other electronics often continue to draw power, and radiate heat, even when turned off.  To simplify, plug items into a power strip that you can use as a master switch.  The money you save may only be pennies but those pennies look better in your pocket than they do in the power company’s pocket.

This has been Money Saving Minute #024.  It’s your money and watching the Money Saving Minute each week will help you keep more of it.  Subscribe to the right, share with friends below and as always your comments are welcomed.
